Application Process

  1. Step 1: Review Eligibility
    Review the FACGH eligibility requirements under the Certification Pathway or Long-Term Experience Pathway.
  2. Step 2: Purchase Application Fee
    Submit a non-refundable application fee of $200 via the GHQA Online Store. Your receipt will include an invoice number required for the application.
  3. Step 3: Prepare Supporting Documents
    Gather and upload the following:
    • Highest degree diploma.
    • Certification(s), if applicable.
    • Updated CV or resume.
    • Engagement documentation (proof of participation in GHQA activities).
  4. Step 4: Provide Peer Recommendations
    Submit two peer recommendation forms from mentors, supervisors, or colleagues who can attest to your qualifications.
  5. Step 5: Complete the Application
    Complete the FACGH application form online and upload all required documents.
  6. Step 6: Application Review
    • Applications are reviewed by a subgroup of current FACGH Fellows to ensure eligibility and alignment with GHQA’s mission.
    • Applicants will be evaluated based on their leadership, experience, and contributions to global health.
  7. Step 7: Notification
    Applicants will receive notification of their results via email. Successful candidates will be officially recognized as FACGH Fellows at the GHQA Annual Conference. 

Maintaining FACGH Status

To maintain the FACGH designation, Fellows must:

    • Remain an active member of GHQA.
    • Contribute to GHQA initiatives, events, or working groups.
    • Uphold the GHQA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development.
