How to Get Certified
Step 1: Determine your eligibility pathway:
- Certification Pathway or Waiver Pathway.
Step 2: Complete the application process:
- Submit proof of education, certification, experience, and GHQA engagement.
- Provide peer recommendations from professionals familiar with your work.
Step 3: Pay the certification fee:
- Certification fee is $300 (non-refundable).
Step 4: Submit your application via the GHQA Certification Portal.
Step 5: Attend your official certification ceremony at the GHQA Annual Conference (optional but highly encouraged).
Maintaining Your Certification
To maintain active certification, certified professionals must:
- Remain a GHQA member in good standing.
- Complete continuing education credits annually.
- Participate in GHQA events, working groups, or leadership roles.
- Adhere to the GHQA Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
